When a customer asks whether Tuesday's service happened, a single photo is thin evidence, and 'the app says done' is thinner. A record that ends the argument - and earns the renewal - has four parts:
- Chemistry against target ranges, so the reading actually means something.
- The checklist the tech completed for that pool.
- Photos of the work, saved even when there was no signal.
- A GPS-stamped time and place for the visit.
Put those on one timeline and 'did you even show up?' is answered with a document, not an apology. The same record protects you in a dispute and gives the customer a reason to stay. Proof is not a nice-to-have on a pool route - it is the difference between a chargeback and a renewal.
