What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of data the site stores in your browser. We also use the equivalent local storage entry to remember your consent choice. Both are first-party — only this site can read them.

Categories we use
Strictly necessary: required for the site to load, remember your language and keep the consent record itself. These cannot be disabled.
Our own measurement: we count page views and clicks on this site so we know which pages work. It runs for every visitor, never leaves us for an ad platform, and its session id is stored only until you close the tab — so two visits are not tied to each other.
Analytics: with your consent, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load. Analytics counts visits and remembers the session id above between visits so we can recognise a returning visitor; Clarity records how the page is used (clicks, scrolling, an anonymised replay of the session, with anything you type masked). Runs only if you opt in.
Marketing: pixels for ad platforms (Meta, LinkedIn) so we can measure campaigns end-to-end. Runs only if you opt in.

How long we keep your decision
We keep your decision for six months. After that the banner reappears and you save again. You can also clear it earlier from this page.

Third parties
Only with your consent: when analytics or marketing is enabled, the relevant pixels load directly from the third party (Google, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn). Their own privacy policies apply to what they do with the request. We do not pass extra personal data to them beyond what their pixels collect by default.
Regardless of your choice, nothing outside our own domain is part of the page itself. The typography used to be fetched from Google Fonts on every visit — which handed them your IP address and browser before you had decided anything, on this page included — and is served from our own servers since 17 August 2026.
Stripe's payment library loads only where a card can actually be entered — creating an account and reactivating one. It used to load on every page; it does not any more.
No other external service is loaded by this site. Images, scripts and fonts are served from our own domain.
